Whey protein isolate is a byproduct of cheese production, and is the most concentrated form of protein available, with 93% being pure protein. It has very little fat and lactose, is highly digestible, has a low glycemic index, and has an excellent amino acid profile. WPI is an excellent nutritional enhancement that helps to vary protein intake.
